What should I wear?In saunas, you can wear a towel or bathing suit for hygiene purposes—no nude saunaing, please. For hot tubs, swimwear is recommended.

What should I do before using the sauna or hot tub?Stay hydrated, shower to clean your skin, and remove any jewelry or metal objects as they can heat up.

Can I eat before my session?It’s best to avoid heavy meals before using the sauna or hot tub. A light snack is fine, but a large meal may cause discomfort or nausea.

Can I use essential oils in the sauna?Yes! We offer two types of essential oils from M&S Aromatherapy for use. Please follow the specific guidelines for each sauna, as some may be fragrance-free.

Can I bring my phone or electronics into the sauna?No. Electronics are prohibited due to the risk of heat and humidity damage. Use this time to disconnect and unwind.

Should I shower after using the sauna or hot tub?Yes, showering helps remove sweat and gradually cools your body. A cool or lukewarm shower is recommended.

Will my electricity bill increase during the rental?Not by much! The hot tub motor uses about 4 kWh per day. For a two-day rental, this costs around £1.

Am I responsible for damage to the equipment?Yes. As the lessee, you are responsible for any damage during the rental period.

Am I liable for guests using the hot tub or sauna?Yes, the person who signs the rental agreement is responsible for all users and any injuries that may occur.

Do I need to sign a liability waiver?Yes. The lessee must sign a rental agreement and waiver, accepting responsibility for the equipment and releasing Simply Happy from liability for injuries during the rental.

What are the benefits of using a sauna?Saunas improve cardiovascular health, relieve stress, enhance circulation, relax sore muscles, flush toxins through sweating, improve skin health, and strengthen the immune system.

How long should I stay in the sauna?Beginners should start with 5-10 minutes and gradually increase to 15-20 minutes. Always listen to your body—leave if you feel dizzy or uncomfortable. Timers are provided to help manage your session.

How often should I use the sauna?Most people benefit from 2-3 sessions per week, though daily use can be beneficial. If you have health concerns, consult your healthcare provider.

How long can I stay in the hot tub?The CPSC recommends limiting hot tub sessions to 15 minutes. Take breaks to avoid overheating.

What temperature is safe for kids in a hot tub?Reducing the temperature to around 36 C is recommended for children. Always supervise children during use.

Can children use the sauna?Yes, with supervision. Sessions should be shorter (5-10 minutes), and temperatures should be lower than those for adults. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Is it safe to use a sauna if I’m pregnant?Pregnant women should consult with their healthcare provider before using a sauna. High heat may pose risks, especially during the first trimester.

What are signs that I should leave the sauna or hot tub?Leave immediately if you feel lightheaded, dizzy, nauseous, or have a headache. Rest in a cool environment and drink water to recover.

How long does it take to set up the hot tub or sauna?Basic packages can be set up in about 30 minutes, while out of the ordinary packages may take up to two hours depending on location. We book two-hour windows to ensure smooth setup.

When does my rental period start and end?A two-day rental covers a 48-hour window (e.g., book at 1 PM Friday, pick up at 1 PM Sunday). Weeklong rentals follow the same pattern. Setup is included in the rental time, but teardown is not.

Can I extend my rental period?Yes, as long as we have availability. Just let us know before your rental term ends.

Can I set up the spa anywhere?The surface must be flat, level, and sturdy to support the weight of the filled spa. Think patios, decks, or backyards. Rooftop setups are generally not permitted due to weight restrictions.

Do I need to provide water?In most cases, yes. We require access to an exterior spigot within 100 feet of the setup area. If this isn’t possible, we can bring water for you.

Will the hot tub be ready to use immediately?Yes! Your hot tub will be heated and ready as soon as we finish setup.

Do I need a special outlet for the hot tub?No, our hot tubs plug into a standard 240V/15A grounded outlet within 35 feet of the setup site.
