Safety Guidelines

At Simply Happy, your safety is our priority. While saunas and hot tubs offer relaxation and fun, improper use can result in serious injury. Please follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

1. Drowning Prevention

  • Always keep the hot tub covered when not in use.

  • Children are at high risk—never leave them unsupervised in or near water.

2. Children’s Safety

  • Children should only use saunas and hot tubs under adult supervision.

  • Be cautious with young children, as their bodies may struggle to handle high temperatures.

  • No diving, jumping, or underwater swimming is allowed.

3. Managing Body Temperature

  • Avoid staying in the sauna or hot tub for more than 15 minutes at a time.

  • Keep the water temperature below 40°C (104°F).

  • Take breaks to cool down between sessions and monitor your body’s response.

4. Health Precautions

  • Individuals with heart conditions, diabetes, high/low blood pressure, or serious illnesses should avoid using saunas and hot tubs.

  • Pregnant women and those with infections should not enter the hot tub. Consult a doctor if you are unsure.

5. Alcohol, Drugs, and Medication

  • Do not use the sauna or hot tub under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or drowsiness-inducing medications.

  • Alcohol and high heat increase the risk of drowning, heart attack, and loss of consciousness.

6. Electrical Safety

  • Keep electrical devices away from water to avoid shock or electrocution.

  • Use battery-operated appliances if needed, and never use extension cords near the water.
